Know What You Are Buying
A used car is a large purchase made on limited information. A seller wants the sale, a dealer wants the sale, and a clean-looking car can still hide an expensive problem. A pre-purchase inspection puts an ASE certified technician between you and that risk. We look the car over and tell you what we find, in writing, before you sign anything.
We have no stake in whether you buy the car. That is the point. Our only job is to give you an honest read on its condition so you can decide, or negotiate, with the facts in hand.
What We Check
- Engine and transmission condition and leaks.
- Brakes, suspension, and steering.
- Tires, belts, hoses, and battery.
- Stored fault codes and warning lights.
- Signs of prior accident or flood damage.
- A road test for noises and drivability.
Already Own the Car?
We also do general condition inspections for cars you already own, before a road trip, before winter, or when you are deciding whether to keep a high-mileage vehicle. You get a clear picture of what is sound and what is coming due.
