We diagnose first and tell you what we actually found, so you are not paying to replace parts one at a time until the problem goes away.

We will also be honest with you about the big decision. On a high-mileage vehicle, a major engine repair sometimes costs more than the car is worth. When that is the case, we say so. You should hear it from a mechanic who has no stake in selling you the larger job.

Overheating in particular is worth stopping for, because a few minutes of driving hot can turn a small repair into a major one.
