Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to the questions drivers ask us most, before they decide who to trust with their car.
Always. We diagnose the problem first, then give you a written estimate. We do not begin any work until you approve it, and we call you before doing anything that would change the price. You will never be surprised by the bill.
Yes. Our technicians are ASE certified, and we have a Master Technician on staff. ASE certification means a technician has been tested and proven on the systems they work on. We are glad to show our credentials any time you ask.
For a hard-to-trace problem, yes, because proper diagnosis takes time and equipment, and it is what saves you from paying to replace parts that were never the problem. If the diagnosis leads to a repair we perform, we credit the diagnostic time toward the job. We will tell you the diagnostic charge up front.
Our repairs carry a 24-month / 24,000-mile parts-and-labor warranty, covering both the parts we install and our labor. If something we repaired fails inside that window, we make it right. We will give you the warranty terms in writing with your invoice.
No. Federal law protects your right to have an independent shop service your vehicle without voiding the manufacturer's warranty, as long as the work is done correctly with quality parts. We keep records of the service we perform, which is exactly what a warranty claim would need. An independent shop usually costs less than the dealer for the same work.
Yes. For larger repairs, we offer financing so a necessary fix does not have to wait for the right month. We will walk you through the options when we confirm your estimate.
Ask to see the worn parts, ask for the diagnosis in plain terms, and ask for the estimate in writing. We do all three by default. We will show you what we found, explain why it needs attention, and never recommend a service before your mileage and manufacturer call for it. If a repair can wait, we will tell you that too.
An appointment is best, since it lets us set aside time and the right technician for your car. You can request one online or call us. If you have an urgent problem or the car is not safe to drive, call and we will fit you in as soon as we can.
